Maxicut 226/60 ZNC Sinker EDM Machine

The 226 model is a medium sized machine equipped with a 60 peak ampere generator.  The machine is designed for ease of operation with a programmable Z-axis and features a built in dielectric reservoir having a 75 gallon capacity with a paper cartridge filtration system.  Special features include the auto cycle function (one button operation) and the optional adaptive logic circuitry for advanced arc protection on small details like seal slots. 

MACHINE DESCRIPTION
The Maxicut 226 machine is a “C” frame configuration, rigidly constructed through the use of cast iron, ribbed and seasoned for stability and longevity.  The worktable is mounted on Turcite coated slides and uses high precision ball screws assuring ease of movement and accuracy.  The table is machined with “T” slots for securing the work piece and similar “T” slots are provided in the platen for securing the electrode.  The Work tank has removable front and side opening door for easy access to the table.  A dielectric manifold is included in the tank to provided flushing lines for efficient operation. 

The EDM head is controlled by a DC Servo motor and moves on roller bearings for precise response Each axis has a closed loop glass scale with read outs displayed on the pendant control LCD. The machine is specially equipped with production features; Auto Fill & Drain and First Spark Sensing, which enable one command cycle activation. 

POWER SUPPLY AND CONTROLS
The ZNC feature enables the machine to execute programmed machining sequences.  50 programs can be stored, each of which can have up to 8 lines containing information defining actual EDM cutting conditions, servo settings, power level, polarity, etc.  When a program runs the machining parameters change as the electrode progresses into the work piece, program steps are keyed to the depth of the electrode.  Data can be entered and displayed in either English or Metric units.
