The Maxicut 126/60 CNC EDM Sinker model is designed for ease of operation and programming with seven built in orbiting routines making fine finishing possible in one operation, from the first rough cut through semi finishing to final finish, with one electrode.  This medium sized machine is equipped as standard with a 60 peak ampere generator and is especially sized for medium to large size work with a table of 23.5" x 11.75" and a work piece capacity of approximately 1,760 pounds.  A built in dielectric reservoir has a 75-gallon capacity and a paper cartridge filtration system. 

 MACHINE DETAILS
The machine base is rigidly constructed through the extensive use of cast iron, ribbed and seasoned for stability and longevity.  The slides are Turcite coated and use high precision ball screws assuring ease of movement, absolute precision, and optimum servo response. 

Each axis is equipped with a closed loop glass scale. Positional read outs are displayed on the control LED Monitor.  A DC Servo controls the EDM head; which moves on roller bearings for precise response, while supporting up to a 130# electrode. 

 A front and side door accesses the work tank.    

POWER SUPPLY AND CONTROLS
Control and data entry is via a membrane keypad with the display on a 14" pendant mounted LED color monitor.  Cutting Voltage and Current are displayed on analog meters while other machining functions and axis position are displayed on the monitor.  The CNC enables the machine to execute programmed machining sequences and features Adaptive Logic, which monitors the cutting gap and shuts any potentially harmful discharges. The result is increased efficiency in machining cycles and faster times brought about by the use of more aggressive EDM parameter sets.

110 programs can be stored, each of which can have up to 8 steps.  500 machining parameter sets can be stored, each containing information defining actual EDM cutting conditions, servo settings, power level, polarity, etc.
