In early days of EDM, many customers did not want to fabricate what was then unknown material... graphite. Belmont was approached by many to offer consulting assistance on how to machine graphite. Some of these customers also pursued the possibility of Belmont supplying fully machined electrodes. To meet customers needs, we began fabricating graphite electrodes in the early 1960's.Belmont's electrode fabrication department produces everything from precision ground blanks to full-form CNC cut electrodes. Working from your print or CAD data we can produce the simplest or most complex electrode in any quantity and most sizes desired. Working together with your EDM or Engineering department we can help design the electrode which is best for your application.
